Some systems in nature are perfectly designed to nurture…
Humans breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide. Plants breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen.
Ahhhhhhh.
Could you imagine a more beautifully symbiotic system?

The greenest place on earth…
All that photosynthesis produces green, and a lot of it. Available for visual enjoyment perhaps nowhere more than the Emerald Isle, Ireland.
Saint Bridgid, one of the patron saints of Eire, knew that nourishing the body was a critical component of nourishing the soul. Her legend involves many tales of helping the poor and hungry, and she is loved to this day.

You can never get enough of what you don’t really need.

But there are so many ways to feel nourished…
Music is a lady that I still love because she gives me the air that I breathe. We need all sorts of nourishment. And music satisfies and nourishes the hunger within ourselves for connection and harmony.–Cat Stevens

Speaking of connection. (and, ahem, being green)…
What’s so amazing that keeps us stargazing? And what do we think we might see?Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me.

That U2 album *definitely* nourishes me. Brings back the college memories…
What else nourishes me?
* music, whether I’m listening to it or making it.
* writing. You would think, then, I would write every day, in some form…but no. Perhaps I need to fix this?
* food–good food, the food I love, food that connects me to memories and people.
* books. Nothing is more nourishing to my mind!
* Alone time. Time with my thoughts, my notebooks…just me.
